Mitsubishi Service

Mitsubishi Service

How to save money on your next Mitsubishi service

Mitsubishi servicing is now much cheaper for those in the know.

Thanks to European legislation you no longer have to be tied to high Mitsubishi service costs dictated by your local dealer.

In October 2003 new European legislation affecting the motor industry came into force called Block Exemption Regulation 14002002 BER and this now means that you can book your next Mitsubishi car service online and save up to 50 on what you might pay at your local Mitsubishi dealer.

Before the law changed it was difficult to have new cars within their warranty period serviced outside a franchised dealer. If you wanted to shop around for the best prices on Mitsubishi servicing your hands were tied.

The change in the law now gives every car owner the freedom to service their car away from the main dealers and still have their warranty protected.

Thousands of Mitsubishi car owners have now taken advantage of their new right and reduced their Mitsubishi serving costs whilst benefiting from the convenience of booking with national car service providers such as Service A Car.

Service A Car is a leading online car servicing network that prides itself on the quality of its Mitsubishi servicing their customer service and transparent pricing. Because the company is not tied to any particular car manufacturer they are able to service any make of vehicle and compete freely in the market on a likeforlike.

Every vehicle is rigorously serviced according to the manufacturers servicing schedule using genuine recommended parts fitted by qualified technicians. This means that every Mitsubishi car service fulfils the warranty criteria and there is no compromise on the servicing standards of a main dealer.

Companies like Service A Car who fulfil the warranty criteria when servicing your Mitsubishi are able to maintain your service book just as main dealer can thereby protecting your warranty and helping you to maximise the resale value of your Mitsubishi car.

Of course booking direct with a national car servicing network has its own advantages:
You no longer have to do all the running around. Service A Car collects your Mitsubishi in the morning and delivers it back that afternoon free of charge
You pay a fixed Mitsubishi service price which can be up to 50 below the price at the Mitsubishi servicing desk of your local dealer
No additional work is carried out without your agreement which means no nasty surprises when it comes to paying the bill
Trained Customer Advisers are on hand throughout the day to keep you informed of progress and report back on problems you asked to be investigated as part of your Mitsubishi service e.g. knocks and rattles
Your Mitsubishi service includes a free wash and vacuum clean
You simply pay with your credit or debit card and your car is delivered back to your home or work address.

Our advice for saving money on Mitsubishi car servicing is to contact a national car servicing network who is not tied to any one particular car manufacturer like Service A Car.

So before you book your next Mitsubishi service why not ask your local dealer to tell you the cost of the service plus parts oil and any extras and then compare it with a fixed price quote from a national servicing network like Service A Car?

Happy motoring
Howard.

Maruti Suzuki Ritz

Maruti Suzuki Ritz

To begin with engineers from Maruti Suzuki worked at close quarters with their Japanese counterparts in the development of the Maruti Ritz much like that for the AStar. Bits and pieces here and there come together to make the Ritz a fairly different car as compared to the international Splash. Small modifications on the exterior have been implemented keeping in mind the developing Indian tastes including a redesigned rear bumper that accommodates reflectors and RR fog lamps.

The heart of the car which is the K12M engine has been extensively tested calibrated and tuned specifically for Indian conditions. Apart from this a reworked gearbox uses gear ratios different from that of the Splash to match its driveability with Indian traffic conditions.

MUL seems to be going the complete distance to ensure that the Ritz manages to make an impact on the cutthroat A2 hatchback space. Giving the car some added firepower are some interesting new techfeatures that will help the Ritz distinguish itself from the competition. We’ve already seen how the new and ultralow emissions K12M engine will make the Ritz India’s first BSIV ready passenger car. Engineers from the company have gone one step further and made design modifications to the engine to ensure E10 compatibility meaning that the Ritz will be able to run on 10 ethanolpetrol blend whenever the Government decides to implement the sale of such fuel.

Given that unlike in international markets the rear bench is often used by three and not two adults special emphasis has been given to the shoulder space and rear seat comfort a redone seat profile included. To go with the same concept the Ritz carries a redesigned central console has also been provided to ease the ingress and egress for rear seat passengers.

To take in the sometimes massive potholes in India ground clearance of the Ritz is a good 30mm higher than that on the Splash. The suspension has been retuned for comfort as per Indian roads. A bigger and wider tyre has also been accommodated along with the body redesigns needed for the same.

With the growing involvement and dependence of vehicle mechanisms on electronics it has become necessary to ensure that the electronics of the car do not malfunction when subject to disturbances emanating from communication towers high voltage power transmission lines and communication devices. Although such ElectroMagnetic Compatibility EMC tests are mandatory in Europe it yet has to be implemented in India. The Ritz however is the first Indian passenger car to have cleared these tests at VRDE’s recently established EMC facility.

Make Your Hog Your Own With Custom Harley Parts

Make Your Hog Your Own With Custom Harley Parts

Every Harley Davidson owner has at some time or another thought about customizing his or her motorcycle in some way. You rarely see a stock Harley Davidson because Harley’s are King! Harley’s are so much bigger than the function of mere transportation that so many people are becoming interested in motorcycles for right now. Harley’s capture the spirit of what it means to be a serious biker.

So the question remains what is the best way to make your Harley Davidson look and feel like an extension of yourself? The simple answer is by adding custom Harley parts and accessories.

For most Harley Davidson owners the reason they add accessories is to stand out. It’s a style statement. You may think that some people go way overboard on customizing their bike creating an over bulky mess of chrome and rubber but remember overboard for someone may be a constant work in progress masterpiece to someone else. Again Harley Davidson Motorcycles are principally about style not mere function.

You may have a different style for customizing your bike. You may be looking for custom Harley Parts and accessories that hide the extra bulk and make your bike as streamlined and minimalistic as possible.

And there are those for whom being practical is a consideration in personalizing their bike. If you install a nice chrome luggage rack on your back fender or a detachable windshield it not only adds a personal style touch but it also serves an important purpose. How else would you carry your tent and keep bugs and rocks out of your teeth?

So how do you pick out a Harley Davidson accessory or choose what to customize? Well that’s personal. But I would suggest that you start by deciding what you want out of your bike and your relationship with it. Sit back and have a look at yourself. What kind of biker are you anyway?

Are you a speed demon that likes to lay rubber on the road every now and then and show off racing up and down busy roads to the awe of males and females of all ages?

If this is you you may want to consider getting your engine rebuilt for increased horsepower. You can’t go wrong with a lot of Harley chrome either as it always looks impressive. Just when you think you have all the custom Harley parts available there is something new in that catalog.

Or your style may be a much more subdued. Your main motorcycling purpose in life may be to enjoy riding the road and you aren’t bothered with rushing anywhere just cruising and taking it all in. You still want to look good riding your Harley but you don’t feel like you need to try so hard.

If this describes you you may only want one or two custom Harley parts more for convenience than style because after all Harley says style all by itself. A black leather studded luggage bag that slips over that backrest on your bike looks good when you are on a long trip and it serves a purpose.

Overall the most important thing to consider when shopping for custom Harley parts is to remember the kind of person you are when making Harley Davidson Accessory choices. A properly customized Harley is an extension of the owner who rides it. Make it say who you are.
