Is This The Swan Song For The Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Is This The Swan Song For The Jeep Grand Cherokee?
The Jeep brand has a lofty and historic heritage one that was came to life during the darkest hours of World War II. At that time the US military needed a vehicle which could move its way through the French countryside German bogs and far eastern paddy fields thus the Jeep was born.
Since the second world war ended Jeep has been available to the general public and it is the vehicle which gave way to the rise of sport/utility vehicles now common with virtually all automakers.
Jeep itself has survived its own turbulence having been bought and sold several times over the course of its lifetime. Willys Kaiser and American Motors were the earliest owners of the Jeep brand followed by Chrysler Corporation DaimlerChrysler and the all new Chrysler LLC company formed in 2007 when Chrysler was separated from its German parent the new Daimler AG.
Since 1993 the flagship vehicle in the Jeep fleet is the Grand Cherokee although the newer Commander is actually the largest Jeep model currently sold. That latter model has been a slow seller and will probably be discontinued after the current model year.
If Jeep lives long enough customers will see a new model next year the 2011 Grand Cherokee. Now entering its fourth generation the Grand Cherokee will probably be the final model produced by Chrysler LLC as the company is basically bankrupt and hoping that its pending alliance with Fiat SpA works out. If Chrysler and Fiat are able to strike up a deal then Jeep would be included in that plan. If not a bankrupt Chrysler would be sold off in pieces with Jeep likely to go to the highest bidder.
The next generation Jeep Grand Cherokee keeps its offroad capabilities intact despite contrary rumors suggesting that the vehicle would be transformed into a crossover model. Featuring allnew QuadraLift air suspension system the Grand Cherokee delivers legendary Jeep offroad capability along with the new SelecTerrain system that allows the driver to choose the drive system that best matches on or offroad driving conditions. New front and rear independent suspension systems deliver premium onroad handling and comfort.
The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s standard engine is an allnew flexible fuel 3.6liter Pentastar V6 engine. The 3.6liter V6 engine is an allnew design featuring double overhead camshafts DOHC and a highpressure diecast aluminum cylinder block in a 60degree configuration. This engine will offer an 11 increase in fuel economy while customers will also be able to choose a HEMI V8 for additional power and towing capabilities.
No matter what becomes of Jeep the brand’s legendary track record remains Chrysler’s most valuable asset one that will likely continue whether Fiat or some other company gains control over the world’s oldest offroad brand.

Is The Price Of Printer Ink Sustainable?
Is The Price Of Printer Ink Sustainable?
I remember many years ago Bill Gates saying that Microsoft would become paperless and yet today by all accounts it uses more paper ?? than ever. In my case it was a conscious decision to just say no. With more applications going online into the SaaS world I dont see the justification for keeping paper copies of everything we do. Perhaps now is the time for business to dust off those old document management strategy papers and reevaluate the need for printers the paper and ink http://www.officeproductssuppliers.com/ they consume.
Even so I took a sharp intake of breath when I saw a post from my old chum Vinnie Merchantman setting out ways by which companies could mitigate their use of ink cartridges. At an alleged 8000 a gallon thats a heck of a price to pay for the pleasure of holding a piece of paper. And thats before we consider the costs associated with manufacturing the cartridges and the toxins they produce.
I havent used a printer from more than three years. Part of that is because Ive been conducting an experiment to see if I can live in the cloud part of it is because almost everything I do is digital in nature. The only time I really need to print something is when an organization insists on a faxed copy of a document and even thats becoming quite rare. On those occasions I drive 20 miles to the nearest place I know where there is a fax machine and make a day of it. Its not efficient and hardly good use of increasingly scarce hydrocarbons but a good reminder that not everyone has jumped into the digital age.

Installation For Hid Conversion Kits Xenon Lights
Installation For Hid Conversion Kits Xenon Lights
Before talking about the installation for a hid lights on your car we better talk about what’s included in a HID conversion Kits. There are 4 common hid kits on the market.
Single Beam Conversion Kits H1 H3 H41 H7 90041 9005 9006 90071 with 2 ballasts and installation clamps.
Hilo Beam : H42 90042. 90072 hid for low beam and halogen bulb for high beam with 2 ballasts and installation clamps.
Telescope Kit : H43 90043 90073 single HID can switch between high beam and low beam with 2 ballasts and installation clamps.
Bixenon Kit : H44 90044 90074 2 HID bulbs on each bulb which works for high and low beam with 4 ballasts and installation clamps.
These kits are designed to produce more light and last longer than any other lighting kits out there. HID kits are a complete replacement to your existing headlight bulb yet they are extremely easy to install. That starter takes the signal from the vehicle and quickly sends it to the ballast. The ballast then amplifies the signal to a high current signal and sends it to the bulb. The plug in HID bulb receives the signal and creates the light. The bulb is filled with a mixture of gases and salts. When the bulb receives the amplified power from the ballast it energizes the gases in the bulb creating a white/blue light output. The color varies depending on the Kelvin K/color temperature of the kit.
We like these kits because of the functionality and visual appeal they offer. The really do add class to your car as well as give you a little bit more confidence behind the wheel in less than perfect conditions such as fog rain or night time driving. These kits are easy to install. First layout the components and find a good mounting spot for both the ballast and starter. Be sure the wiring from the both of them including the bulb reach without being too snug. Once you find a mounting spot mount them securely into place. Be sure to fasten them well to the vehicle. Now remove the stock halogen bulb from the headlight housing using latex gloves and unplug the plug from it. Now take that plug and plug it into the starter you just mounted. Plug the starter into the ballast then carefully plug the new bulb into the headlight housing. Use latex gloves to do this because you dont want to touch the bulbs with your fingers. It should go in the same way the old one came out. Once it is securely fastened into place with all rubber garments reconnected plug the ballast into the bulb. You may find that you need to adjust the headlights. You can find information on how to do this by checking your owners manual.
And the price for a full kit of HID lights it’s getting cheaper and cheaper it’s around USD 109 shipped and most vendor offer 1 year warranty for your kits. So it’s not a bad idea to upgrade your halogen bulbs to HID bulbs. Please make sure that you know what kits you need to install your hid light
